Short-term beach morphodynamics induced by the incidence of a fierce storm (Emma) that impacted the a reflective beach (Faro Beach, in S. Portugal) in early 2018 and the subsequent beach recovery were modelled calibrating the XBeach model. The work was published in the paper, entitled “Simulating Destructive and Constructive Morphodynamic Processes in Steep Beaches”.
