ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9323-0723 Ciência ID: https://www.cienciavitae.pt/4A1F-CEDA-E66C Graduated in Geology from Université Paris-XI, France, she obtained her PhD in 1998 in Environmental Methodologies, with a specialization in isotopic geochemistry, from the UQAM-Université du Québec in Montreal, Canada. She is an Auxiliary Professor with permanent appointment since 2005, teaching at the Department of Earth, Sea and Environment Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Algarve. She is a CIMA Researcher, and Associate Researcher at the ICArHEB Center and the GEOTOP-UQAM-McGill Center in Canada, as well as National Alternate Representative at ESSAC. She has tenths of publications in specialized journals, conference proceedings and book chapters, and supervision of master's and doctoral theses, in addition to having coordinated and participated in several research projects. She coordinated the CIMA research team that participated in AMAL's Inter-municipal Adaptation Plan to Global Changes.
