Is an Assistant Professor lecturing in Chemical Oceanography, Environmental Chemistry and Estuarine Processes and Wetlands. She has been in the commission of coordination of the Marine Sciences and Marine Biology degrees. She is currently in the commission of coordination of the MSc on Marine and Coastal Systems. She has 25 years of research experience on marine and estuarine water quality and contamination, and chemical oceanographic processes. She has participated in 30 national and European research projects, being the coordinator of several national projects. He published about 40 articles on indexed peer reviewed journals.
